Have you ever heard of Port St lucie, Florida? I have enjoyed watching him play during his tournaments. In the City of Port St lucie, you can live right on a golf course if you desire to. Port st Lucie includes the City of Fort Pierce , the City of Port St. Lucie and St. Lucie Village and is located 2 hours north of Miami Florida and about 2 hours south or Orlando Florida. The golf courses are in no specific order. 

St. Lucie Trail Golf Club

Club Med Sandpiper Bay, “The Sandpiper Bay Golf Course, formerly known as the “Sinners”, was designed by Mark Mahannah and was opened in 1963.” The staff is friendly and helpful, scheduling tee times was fairly a simple process, and should you need a coach, you can book a golf lesson as well, who will help you to improve your swings. It’s also the home to Club Med Golf Academy which houses and trains elite junior golfers from all over the world.

St. Lucie Trail Golf Club

St. Lucie Trail Golf Club  “was designed by Architect(s): Jim Fazio 1989, and revitalized in 2014 under the direction of St. Lucie Trail Golf Club Superintendent” The Greens and  Fairways are Bermuda Grass and you can play year round. My son played here many time for throughout high school tournaments, and the staff in the pro shop is very helpful and friendly.

The Saints at Port St. Lucie Golf Course

The Saints Golf Course is owned and operated by the City of Port St. Lucie and consists of an 18-hole championship course, driving range and practice area. The Saints’ clubhouse houses a fully-stocked pro shop and banquet room you can rent. We started at attending the saint when my son was younger and first learning golf with the First Tee, an organization that provides educational instruction for kids. We went there every Saturday morning at that time. The Saints offers a driving range, short-game practice area and a large practice putting green.

The Champion Turf Club at St. James

 St. James  “is the perfect spot to enjoy both the Treasure Coast’s warm weather and Florida’s excellent golf tradition! It is also open to the public and they offer an opportunity to sign up for lessons if needed.

PGA Golf Club

We love going to the PGA Golf Club short course which is free to the public. After church, or right before homeschool, we often visit the short course for a few rounds of golf where we work on specific skills.

Ranked by Golf Digest as one of America’s best golf resorts, PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida is home to 54 magnificent holes of Championship golf by legends Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. The  short courses is awesome as well for those looking to do a few short rounds. Its open to the public and you can do as many rounds as you like.
